Linko is made by Alphagrid Technology, Tanzania. You can delete your Linko account and its data at any time.
In the app (straight away)
- Open Linko and go to Profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately and can't be recovered.
Without the app
If you can't use the app, email privacy@linko.one from the email address of your Linko account, with the subject "Delete my Linko account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days, then reply to tell you it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account, email address and password
- Your profile, photo, links and contact details
- Your connections and connection requests
- Businesses you listed, with their photos, menus, products and reviews
- Events you organise (they disappear for everyone who joined), with their chat
- Events you joined, your chat messages and photos, polls you voted in
- Your saved businesses and events, your notifications and notification settings
- Reviews you wrote and people you blocked
- Your activity on businesses and events (views and taps counted in their owners' Insights)
What is kept
- Reports you sent about other people or content stay with our safety team, without your name.
- Copies in our providers' backups are removed as those backups expire.
