These terms are an agreement between you and Alphagrid Technology, Tanzania ("we", "us"), which runs Linko. By creating an account or using Linko you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Linko
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person, one account. Business and event listings must be created by people allowed to represent them.
2. What Linko is
Linko helps you share your contact details by QR code, connect with people, discover and list businesses, and create and join events. Features may change, and some may be added, limited or removed over time.
3. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you add (profile, photos, listings, events, messages, reviews).
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and share it within Linko, as your sharing choices allow, for as long as it is in Linko.
- You confirm you have the right to share it, and that it is accurate.
4. Rules
Don't use Linko to:
- harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone, or share hateful, violent or sexual content;
- pretend to be someone else, or create fake businesses, events or reviews;
- spam, scam, sell illegal goods or services, or mislead people;
- share other people's personal information without their permission;
- break the law, or the rights of others (such as copyright or privacy);
- try to break, overload, scrape or get around Linko's security or limits.
5. Events and businesses
- Organisers and business owners are responsible for their events and listings: their accuracy, legality, safety and how they treat attendees and customers.
- Linko is not a party to anything arranged between users, and is not responsible for events, businesses, products or services listed by others.
- Organisers who receive attendees' contact details (Share with the organizer) must use them only for that event and in line with privacy laws, and must delete them when asked.
- Meet people and attend events with normal care for your own safety.
6. Reports, removal and suspension
You can report and block people. We may remove content or limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, without notice where necessary.
7. Paid features
Linko is free today. If we add paid features (for example for organisers or businesses), their price and terms will be shown before you pay, and payments will be handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in the app and the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
- Linko is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or that information from other users is correct.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other users do, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Linko afterwards, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. If you live elsewhere, the consumer protection laws of your country still apply to you where they must.
